Baseball

The Delaware Valley baseball team has reached the postseason in nine of the last 12 seasons with seven trips to the Middle Atlantic Conference/Freedom Conference playoffs and five invitations to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Southern Region Championships.

The Aggies won the MAC-Freedom regular-season title in 1998 and reached the conference championship game in both 1998 and 2002. They were crowned ECAC champs in 1999 to cap a school-record 31-7 season and won the title once again in 2003.

Individually, Delaware Valley has had six MAC/Freedom Conference Most Valuable Players since 1998: Matt Altieri (1998), Jason Stackhouse (1999), Tony DeLude (2001 and 2002), Mark Roth (2003) and Zach Jakubowski (2008). Roth and Brandon McCabe earned All-American honors in 2003 and 2004 respectively.
