The combination of outstanding animal facilities and personal attention at DelVal allows students to plan, design, and execute their own independent research projects. Dedicated space is available for students to create unique housing conditions or to bring in new species to meet their specific research needs. Students interested in recombinant DNA or proteomics work have the opportunity to study and complete research in collaboration with our onsite colleagues in The Jefferson Center. Projects in animal health, nutrition, reproduction, behavior, or ecology can be completed under the direction of DVC faculty in the Department of Animal Biotechnology & Conservation.
