Check list for Graduates

Congratulations Class of 2008!!  This check list was created to assist you in making sure you have all the information you need to have a wonderful Commencement Day on Saturday, May 24, 2008.

Financial aid: If you received financial aid, please make every effort to attend one of the Federal Stafford Loan Exit Information Sessions and complete the on-line exit interview at www.aessuccess.org under “Student Loans – Exit Counseling.”

Registrar: Print a Program Evaluation NOW to ensure that all degree requirements are complete or will be complete this semester. The Program Evaluation is available through WebAdvisor on http://www.delval.edu . See your Advisor or Department Chair with any questions about outstanding requirements. You may also contact the Registrar's Office either in person or by phone at 215-489-2475 or 215-489-2220.


Career Services: If you do not have your printed receipt today, don’t forget to complete the graduate survey at http://www.delval.edu/gradsurvey. This information is very important to capture your plans after graduation!


Resident Students: Graduating Seniors have a variety of options regarding Checking out of the Residence Halls.  They may check out following their last final, the week between finals ending and Commencement or following Commencement. Specific information regarding the check out process will be distributed.


Bursar’s Office: Please check with the Bursar's office to see if you have a balance due. If you had a Federal Perkins Loan at DelVal, you must complete a Federal Perkins Loan exit interview. Please go to the Bursars web page at http://delval.edu/bursar to complete this interview. Click on the Perkins Loan Exit Interview link and follow the instructions provided. Please print a copy for your records when finished.
