Mr. O'Connor was a newspaper reporter for 15 years prior to coming to Delaware Valley College. He was a general assignment reporter for The New York Times and a writer for Investor's Business Daily. He reported on the civil war in Bosnia for The National Catholic Register and has worked as a freelance writer for a variety of sports, travel and business magazines, including Crain's New York Business, Porthole, Caribbean Life, Skiing and Field & Stream.
Mr. O'Connor wrote and produced several television programs for Temple University cable television. He has completed four screenplays for film and two stage plays. Prior to becoming a writer and college professor, Mr. O'Connor worked in business and public relations. He is currently working on his doctorate in mass media and communication at Temple University.
