Prior to joining the faculty of Delaware Valley College in 1996, Mr. Young taught full-time at both Louisiana State University and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Mr. Young regularly teaches courses in Basic Mathematics, College Algebra, Elementary Functions, Calculus I, Linear Algebra, Modern Algebra and Number Theory and Mathematics Seminar. He also coordinates the mathematics diagnostic testing, serves on several college committees and has been a member of the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) for over 10 years.

In his spare time, he enjoys making molded chocolates, but his favorite hobby is visiting theme parks to ride roller coasters.
