What Is Learning Support Services?
Learning Support Services (LSS) is a resource for students with disabilities. It is a function of Student Support Services at Delaware Valley College. The goal of LSS is to assure students with disabilities reasonable accommodations and equal access to the college's educational programs and activities. LSS offers a variety of academic and support services directed toward student achievement and adjustment in college. In addition, LSS may serve as a liaison between students and college personnel. The office is also an information and referral source on disability related issues.
To obtain assistance:
Contact the LSS office as soon as possible at 215-489-2490. All adjustments for Delaware Valley College's examinations and classroom accommodations are developed through this office, and LSS provides superior levels of assistance for students with disabilities. When students request information in a timely manner, personalized accommodations can be implemented effectively.

The Learning Center provides peer tutoring and support to help you succeed academically. Peer tutoring is available, free of charge, in a wide variety of academic disciplines to all students.Counseling Center

on issues of personal and emotional health to all students. Counselors
are available on a walk-in or by ap-pointment basis. All inquiries are treated confidentially and professionally.Academic Skills Workshops
Workshops focusing on academic success are presented by Student Support Services throughout the school year. Topics include time management, note taking, test preparation, writing tips and study strategies.
