Anti-Virus For Students

It is important that all computers on the College's network have up to date antivirus software installed. If you are a resident student and your antivirus software is out of date or you do not have antivirus software on your computer, you can install a copy of Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition that Technology Services has purchased for all students.

Commuters and guests are strongly encouraged to have up to date antivirus protection before connecting to the College's network.

If your computer is found to have a virus on it, your network connection will be disabled. Please take advantage of the Symantec Antivirus that we are providing. If you choose to use your own antivirus software, it is your responsibility to keep it up to date. Most programs expire after certain amount of time. The programs usually shows you how long you have until your subscription expires. You can usually renew this subscription.
