Mission Statement
The Graduate Program in Educational Leadership at Delaware Valley College is committed to preparing the professional educator for a leadership role at all levels and segments of today’s public and private schools. The program focuses on acquiring the essential skills needed for the leadership role through a series of intense professional studies and experiences related to the students’ chosen career path. The acquisition of skills offers students the opportunity to expand their understanding of leadership while pursuing the advanced Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership. By combining knowledge with experience, the Educational Leadership program prepares students to function as informed, inquiring and skilled leaders within the field of education.
Faculty
Delaware Vally College's Educational Leadership program consists of a faculty of superior local, neighboring and regional professionals who have met success at all levels of school administration, supervision or in their individual field of expertise. Our instructors are required to hold a Doctorate degree or possess career specialization to ensure that the educational experience is of the highest quality. Our professional staff currently serves the education profession as school and district-level administrators in addition to several members that serve as educational advisors to various public school districts, other institutions of higher learning, state and local committees and professional organizations.
Our full-time professional faculty of the DelVal Educational Leadership program is directed by Robert W. Valente, Ed.D.
