Delaware Valley College staff understand that figuring out the "real" cost of your college education can be daunting. Many institutions have lower tuition rates but may not offer competitive financial aid packages. Private colleges, such as DelVal, may seem to have higher "sticker prices," but we are also likely to give more financial aid.
Once students apply for financial aid, many find that the cost to attend DelVal is less than attending another institution. We encourage you to submit applications for admission and financial aid to DelVal to discover the "real" cost of your education.
Our Financial Aid Office will quickly determine the scholarships, grants and loans you are eligible for. Merit-based scholarships are awarded for academic achievement or performance. Federal, state and institutional grants, based on financial need rather than SAT scores or GPA's, are also available. Students should not forget about including loans in their financial-aid package. Our Financial Aid Office will send you a financial aid kit, clearly showing the financial assistance we have discovered for you.
The affordable cost to attend DelVal may surprise you, but the value of the education you receive is even more exceptional. Feel free to explore our scholarship guide, which helps make the financial-aid search even more simple.
