About DelVal

Delaware Valley College is a private, co-educational four-year college located in Bucks County, in South-East Pennsylvania. Founded in 1896 as the National Farm School, DelVal attained junior college status in 1945 and senior college status in 1948. Our name changed to the Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture in 1960 before finally becoming Delaware Valley College, a name now recognized nationally as a leader in higher education, in 1989.

Delaware Valley College enrolls approximately 2000 students in our day, Evening and Weekend degree programs in addition to over 100 students in our Masters degree programs. DelVal is accredited by the Commission of Higher Education of the Middles States Association of Colleges and Schools. Just a few of our many distinctions include the approval of our Chemistry program by the American Chemical Society and our Food Science and Management Department by the Institute of Food Technologists.
