The Department consists of 4 full-time faculty, about 8 adjunct faculty and 1 department head. The 4 full-timers are professional teachers each with over 10 years of teaching experience at Del Val. As advisors, they help students every step of the way, from course selection to internships to career planning to graduation to job placement.
Students in all majors take advantage of our 500-acre living laboratory, containing turf and crop demonstration plots, athletic fields, compost facility, wetlands, forested land, streams and agricultural land. Students also can participate in ongoing faculty research.
