Online Presentation of Faculty Credentials - A case-study of how one university presents its faculty credentials to the community, current and prospective students and colleagues. Interviews with the institution's Webmaster and Web content manager provide insight into how the university attempts to reconcile institutional Web design standards with departmental and faculty page ownership. A Web page artifact analysis of page content and link structure reveals issues with page ownership and web standards compliance.

Case Study of a Professional Development Website - An analysis of an institutional teaching and learning center Web site with an emphasis on how the center presents information to its faculty audience and the promotion of the Web site by the institution. The Web site is analyzed to determine how it meets the needs of its audience, the institution's faculty members. An interview with the teaching and learning center's director reveals the history of the site's content and philosophy of Web sites as marketing tools. Presented October 5, 2007 at the 13th Annual Technology and Learning Conference at Montgomery County Community College.
