Kenneth Dedeian

Dr. Dedeian (also known as Dr. D by his students) teaches general and advanced inorganic chemistry courses along with the accompanying laboratories. Immediately prior to coming to DelVal, Dr. Dedeian conducted research as a postdoc at the Army Research Laboratory, where he built and studied organic light-emitting diodes. He has several years of industrial experience behind him as well, having worked as a research chemist at Hoffmann-La Roche and as an engineer in the electronics and micromachining industries.

Dr. Dedeian is currently developing new laboratories experiments for general and inorganic chemistry classes. Some of his other interests include nanotechnology, electronic device fabrication and renewable energy, including solar and biodiesel production.
