Dr. Garrett teaches courses in General Chemistry, Physical Chemistry I (Thermodynamics), Descriptive Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Toxicology and Advanced Physical Chemistry (Polymers). He describes himself as a generalist who enjoys collecting material from books and journals to use in his courses and to pursue different aspects of certain concepts.
Dr. Garrett also enjoys building apparatuses to use in experiments and working with the gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer. Over the years, he has mentored many students in small research projects.
