William Stevens

Dr. Stephens joined the DelVal faculty in August of 2001 after 22 years at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. He teaches Organic Chemistry, Advanced Organic Chemistry, Organic Analysis and Separation Methods and has developed a molecular modeling laboratory for use in various chemistry courses.

Dr. Stephens is an active member of the college community, serving on the Curriculum (Co-chair), Core Curriculum and New Faculty Orientation committees. He is also very active with the Student Affiliate Chapter of the ACS (the American Chemistry Society) and was selected Advisor of the Year for the 2004-2005 year. Dr. Stephens is also active with the Central Bucks School District, offering week-long summer workshops in chemistry for juniors and seniors of the district. Dr. Stephens received the Harleysville National Bank and Trust Company Great Professorship Award in 2004.
