Delware Valley College offers students the opportunity to become certified in A+, the computer technology industry's leading hardware and software support standard for entry level Service Technicians. A+ is rapidly becoming necessary for employment in the computer industry, with many large high-tech companies requiring support staff and/or sub-contractors to be A+ certified.
Major computer hardware and software vendors support this program, developed by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA). Delaware Valley College is a member of CompTIA.
At DelVal, lessens are taught through a series of lectures, hands-on lab exercises and review questions designed to improve your PC configuration and troubleshooting skills. To enhance the learning experience and provide hands-on experience, you will assemble a modern PC that will be yours to keep at the conclusion of class. Successful completion of this program will prepare you to pass the two CompTIA exams.
A+ Certified professionals retain this designation. The certification does not expire, and no re-certification is necessary.
