Microsoft Excel

Delaware Valley College offers three classes at progressive levels of Microsoft Excel, which is considered the industry standard for spreadsheets, digital tables for compiling and managing data. MS Excel I

In this class, you will learn the basic skills needed to work with Microsoft Excel. Specific taks will include learning the parts of a workbook; how to create, save and modify a worksheet within a workbook; how to navigate within a worksheet; how to enter, move and copy data and formulas; how to use simple functions; how to format your work; how to create a simple chart and how to print your work.

MS Excel II

This course continues Excel training from the Level I course. You will learn to work with large worksheets; to work with multiple worksheets and workbooks; to change viewing options; to display and hide rows and columns; to link and manage workbooks; to perform advanced charting; to work with advanced formulas; to manage lists and to create and manage templates.

MS Excel III

In this course, you will continue your work with Excel by addressing the following topics: decision-making functions; nested functions; financial functions; lookups and data table functions; pivot table functions; exporting and importing data functions and creating and using macros functions.
