Do you have a Bachelor's degree, and are you interested in becoming a secondary school teacher? Delaware Valley College provides the perfect solution through our Teacher Certification Intern Program (TCIP).

TCIP is designed to help you qualify for the Instructional I Certificate to teach secondary school in Pennsylvania. TCIP admission is limited to those who already have earned a baccalaureate degree in areas that Delaware Valley College provides certification degrees (Agriculture, Biology, Business, Chemistry, English, General Science, Mathematics and Social Studies).
To become certified, simply complete 18 credit hours in education courses, pass the Praxis I and II tests in your specific content area and obtain employment as a teacher intern in a Pennsylvania school district. TCIP Admission Requirements
* Students with less than a 3.0 GPA will be considered for the program on a case-by-case basis.
**3 credits of English Composition and 3 credits of Literature (American or British) studies.
