Student Teaching is the capstone field experience of the Delaware Valley College student's professional preparation for a teaching career. It is a full-time apprenticeship that encourages and supports pre-service teachers as they grow and evolve developmentally to become competent and qualified professionals.

All of the student-teaching schools are top-rated by all educational standards and staffed with well-educated, experienced teachers. Student teachers will be assigned to a mentor who will observe instruction and provide advice to you throughout your teaching semester. Education majors are found student teaching in schools throughout Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.
