Three-Plus-One Program

For the student planning a career in veterinary medicine, an undergraduate education in Equine Science and Management provides the opportunity to obtain hands-on training in the handling and feeding of standardbred horses. Due to the competitive nature of Veterinary School admission, a GPA of 3.5 should be maintained in addition to veterinary work experience and involvement in campus activities.

Additionally, the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) or VCAT exams are required for application. Most students take the GRE for the first time as juniors. Our "Three-plus-One" program is available for students who earn early admission to professional schools and are accepted at the end of their junior year at DelVal. In order to be granted the Bachelor of Science degree from Delaware Valley College, students in the "Three-Plus-One" program must have earned a minimum of 96 credits, including 38 DelVal core requirement credits.
