- American Institute of CPA Minority Scholarship

- Undergraduate students must be a declared accounting major with an overall and accounting GPA of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale; a minority student who has satisfactorily completed at least 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours or equivalent college work, including at least six semester hours in accounting and enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student (12 semester hours or equivalent) unless the student is completing a final semester of study at a four-year or upper division institution. - American Legion Legacy Scholarship

- Applicants must be a child or legally adopted child of active duty United States Military and Guard and Reserve personnel who were federalized and died on active duty on or after September 11, 2001. Must be a high school senior or high school graduate to apply for the scholarship. Scholarship is for undergraduate study at a U.S. school of higher education. - American Soybean Association Scholarship
- The American Soybean Association is pleased to offer a $5000 scholarship for the 2009-2010 school year to a high school senior who plans to declare agriculture as a degree area of study at any accredited college or university. The award is to be used directly for tuition/fees/books, not to exceed $2500 each semester. Applicants must be the child or grandchild of a current ASA/state soybean association member, have a minimum 3.0 high school GPA to apply and maintain a 2.5 college GPA to receive the full amount of the scholarship. - Bucks Beautiful Ornamental Horticulture Scholarship
- Through the Bucks Beautiful Scholarship Program, begun in 1999, graduating Bucks County High School seniors and students of Delaware Valley College are eligible to apply for financial assistance to continue the study of ornamental horticulture, landscape contracting or landscape design.
- Graduating high school seniors residing in Bucks County may apply for a scholarship in the amount of $2000 to continue their education at an accredited college of their choice in the study of ornamental horticulture, landscape contracting or landscape design. Scholarship applications are available February 1 and must be submitted to Bucks Beautiful by May 1.
- Delaware Valley College students enrolled and majoring in the field of ornamental horticulture, landscape contracting or landscape design may apply for a scholarship in the amount of $2000. Scholarship applications are available August 1 and must be submitted to Bucks Beautiful by September 15.

- The M. Verna Butterer Educational Scholarships/Loans are intended for individuals who demonstrate financial need for educational purposes as determined by the Trustees of M. Verna Butterer Educational Trust. Candidates may be graduating high school seniors or other persons pursuing post higher education. Candidates must be U.S. citizens who are residents of Bucks County in the state of Pennsylvania. There is a two-year residency requirement. - This scholarship is open to all high school seniors living in communities near Cargill operations, who will graduate in the spring and whose parents derive at least half their income from farming. Candidates must be enrolled full-time next fall at an accredited two or four-year college, university or vocational school. The scholarships application requires a signature of a Cargill or Cargill joint-venture employee from the community where the student lives. Students do not need to be members of FFA to be eligible.

- Fort Dodge Animal Health Legacy Scholarship
- Fort Dodge Animal Health will sponsor five scholarships of $5000 each. Three scholarships will be directed to veterinary school students who have designated an emphasis in beef production. Two scholarships will be directed to undergraduate students enrolled in an animal science program. National Cattlemen’s Foundation will begin accepting applications in January, with winners being announced in July 2009.

- W D Farr Scholarship will offer two annual $12,000 graduate scholarships. - Franklin County Conservation District College Scholarships
- Deadline: March 1, 2009
- The Franklin County Conservation District has established an Environmental College Scholarship Program to support agricultural and environmental education students residing in Franklin County, New Jersey. Student must be attending a college or University in the United States and be majoring in Agriculture, Conservation, Environmental Resource Management, Forestry or Natural Resource Management or related field. This scholarship is open to a 4 year junior or senior level student or a second year Associate degree. Profits from the annual golf tournament have enabled the Conservation District to offer scholarships for the upcoming school year.
- This year 2 scholarships are being offered for the 2008-2009 school year to college students who meet the requirements listed below and are chosen as recipients by the Franklin County Conservation District Board of Directors.

- Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania Scholarships
- The following scholarships are awarded to students who plan to further their education in Horticulture, Floiculture, Landscape Architecture, Conservation, Forestry, Biology, Botany, Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Environmental Control, City Planning, Land Management and/or allied subjects. Applicants must be residents of Pennsylvania and must be sponsored by a Federated Garden Club. The following scholarships are available to high school seniors, college students and post-graduate college students. Each scholarship award is a minimum of $1,000. Available scholarships include the Loise W. Dimmic Endowed Scholarship, the Marjorie E. Hamblin Annual Endowed Scholarship, the Catherine H. Kenworthy Endowed Scholarship, the Lois Dupre' Shuster Endowed Scholarship and the Mary Alice Wheeler Endowed Scholarship.
- Miriam A. Steel Scholarship - Available to a high school senior. Preference will be given to a high school gardener, FFA or 4-H member. The State Chairman must receive all applications by February 15, 2009.
- Katherine L. Reiger Scholarship - Available to a college student or post-graduate college student whose scholastic average is a "B" or above. Applicants may apply in their sophomore year. The state winner will compete for one of the National Council Scholarships of $3500.
- Constance H. Smith Endowed Scholarship - Available to a college student or post-graduate college student each year. Applicants may apply in their freshman year. A minimum award of $1000 is granted.
- Jane Layman Scholarship - Available to a high school senior every four years. A "B" average must be maintained to keep this scholarship enforced. On or before July 1, the recipient must send his/her scholastic record to the State Scholarship Chairman. Failure to comply will result in loss of the remaining money. Should the recipient forfeit by dropping out of school or not maintain a "B" average, a new winner will be selected the following year instead of the four-year period. The State Chairman must receive all new applications by February 15, 2009.
- Edith Clemmer Steinbright Endowed Scholarship - Available to high school seniors, college students and post-graduate students each year. Preference will be given to a student from the southeastern part of the state. A minimum of $1000 is provided.
- Audubon Scholarship - Available for the amount of $500 and is available to a Federated Garden Club member, a teacher or a college student for the Audubon Camp of his/her choice. A Garden Club member may receive this scholarship once every five years. The winner is responsible for their own transportation and any increase in fees. The sponsoring Garden Club may pay additional fees. The State Chairman must receive all applications by March 15, 2009.

- The Keystone Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society Scholarship
- Deadline: February 13, 2009
- Two $500 scholarships are being offered to college undergraduate students in the fields of agriculture, environmental studies, soils or natural resources. Applicants should have sophomore, junior or senior status. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of a combination of academic merit and program of study, quality of the written essay, financial need, and educational and career goals that are consistent with the SWCS mission. The SWCS strives to foster the science and art of natural resource conservation. Our work targets conservation of soil, water and related natural resources on working land — land that is used to produce food, fiber and other services that improve the quality of life people experience in rural and urban communities. We work to discover, develop, implement and improve ways to use land that sustains its productive capacity and enhances the environment. The scholarships will be available in March. - The Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) Scholarship Fund was established in 1948 to provide educational assistance for children of military families. It is based on one of the Association's founding principals that "education's the cornerstone of a strong Democracy". - To be considered for a NIAF scholarship, a student must be enrolled in an U.S. accredited institution of higher education for the Fall 2008, have a grade-point average of at least 3.5 out of 4.0 (or the equivalent), be a United States citizen or a permanent resident alien, fit into one of the two NIAF scholarship categories and, for the purposes of the NIAF Scholarship Program, to be "Italian American" the student must have at least one ancestor who has immigrated from Italy. - The scholarship amount is an award up to $1000 and will be awarded in May. The student must be a resident of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and be enrolled in horticulture or a horticulture-related field at an accredited college or university.
