Ideally located in the heart of Bucks County, Delaware Valley College offers Livestock Science and Management students all they need for a solid practical education. Surrounded by miles of rolling farmlands, the college's campus includes 550 acres upon which are located our extensive livestock facilities. These outdoor classrooms and living laboratories are within an easy walk of dorms and classroom buildings. Local livestock facilities provide additional learning sites, and area professionals contribute to your learning experience through frequent guest lecturing and by providing undergraduate internships, co-ops and postgraduate employment. The intimate size of Delaware Valley College works to your advantage, especially as a Large Animal science major. There is friendship among students and between students and professors. An additional advantage of our size is the fact that most classes are small. You receive a hands-on education. You might deliver a lamb or process baby pigs. Our academic philosophy, emphasizing scholarship with applied experience, holds true in this major. You will learn by doing!
