Large Animal Science majors are active outside their lectures and labs. Students have the opportunity to take trips to commercial livestock enterprises, participate in academic clubs involving the animals and prepare the animals for such competitions as the Pennsylvania Farm Show and the college's own A-Day.

Through these events, you become thoroughly familiar with the livestock upon which both the program and your career goals are built.
