Parents and Families
The Delaware Valley College Parents of DelVal is a group of parents who maintain membership in the group and strive to
- Serve as an avenue of communication and information for parents of students and prospective students
- Participate in programs that foster parental involvement, most notably Parents' Weekend and Homecoming
- Increase the value of their student's degree by enhancing academic achievement through the support of campus programs
- Function as a communicator between the college, administration and parents for promoting updates on new programs or proposed new ventures
- Initiate new programs for the benefit of parents, students and Delaware Valley College.
These activities provide parents opportunities to:
- Share ideas and concerns of sending a child away to college
- Spend time with sons and daughters in a collegiate setting
- Network with other DelVal parents and students
