DELAWARE VALLEY COLLEGE HOLDS OWN IN USNEWS & WORLD REPORT RANKINGS OF AMERICA’S BEST
DOYLESTOWN, Pa., -- (August 17, 2007) -- Delaware Valley College held its top 25 status among America’s best comprehensive colleges in the north at number 25 in US News and World Report’s “America’s Best Colleges” 2008 edition scheduled to hit newsstands on August 18, 2007.
This is the fifth year Delaware Valley College has appeared on the list in which US News ranks DelVal in the category “Best Comprehensive Colleges – Bachelor’s by Region” and includes 324 institutions in four regions of the United States including North, South, Midwest and West. Included in this category are colleges offering a range of degree programs in the liberal arts and professional fields with a focus on undergraduate education.
“DelVal’s ongoing ranking as a top 25 comprehensive college recognizes our continuous improvement in an increasingly competitive marketplace,” said Dr. Joseph S. Brosnan, president of Delaware Valley College. “It is an acknowledgement of the overall quality of our faculty and academic programs.”
