Please take a moment to complete our student activities survey. Your responses will help identify possible activities for next semester!
Delaware Valley College believes that co-curricular activities are a vital part of the total college experience. For this reason, we provide a wide range of clubs, organizations and activities for students to explore new interests outside a typical classroom environment. These activities enable students to develop leadership skills, meet new people and explore real-world opportunities. Groups plan and organize a number of activities, including mixers, movies, concerts, speakers, field trips and workshops. Organizations are as varied as the students that participate: some are affiliated with a specific major or with a special interest within a major, some are service-oriented and still others focus on student interests outside DelVal's programs.
DelVal's Student Government Board and the organizations within it play the main role in the governance and operation of student activities. Board representatives and officers, elected by the students, fulfill the functions and responsibilities of each organization as detailed in its constitution. All organizations publish this information in the Student Handbook, a copy of which is provided to each registering student.
