Roth Living Farm Museum: Overview

The Roth Living Farm Museum is dedicated to providing historical information on farming practices to school children, organized groups and the general public, with an emphasis on 19th- and early 20th-century farming that was the original use of this property. Through this information, we hope to generate awareness and understanding of farming among our neighbors and to promote a sense of appreciation for American agriculture.

Depending on the season, visitors can see sheep shearing, milking and planting demonstrations; antique equipment displays; participate in hands-on activities such as butter- and cheese-making, egg collecting, corn grinding and laundry day. Visitors can also learn about wool, go for a horse-drawn wagon rides and, of course, meet our resident draft horses, cattle, sheep, goats and chickens.
