Business Administration: Overview

At Delaware Valley College, the Business Administration program is broad, comprehensive and career-based; the program deals with the science and art of the human, physical and economic resources of a business enterprise.

As a science and art, business deals with principles, concepts and practices that influence the activities of finance, operations, personnel, distribution and marketing. Emphasis is placed on management's ability to analyze, plan, motivate, coordinate and control the varied activities necessary for effective and successful operations of a business organization.

Business Administration at Delaware Valley College has been in existence for more than 30 years and has graduated nearly 2,000 students. The department offers 80 to 90 courses each semester, more than any other department on campus.
