Our Equine Studies program provides you with the knowledge and technical skills that are in high demand by today's horse industry. Your four-year degree in Equine Studies will expertly prepare you for management positions in equestrian and breeding facilities, horse show personnel management, business management and marketing, as well as riding, driving, instruction and training positions. Additional opportunities are available in equine-related industries. Some important support services positions include the manufacture, distribution and sale of equine supplies, feed and health products that require confident, knowledgeable, well-trained people to be successful in today's competitive business arena.
Equine students pay additional fees to cover operational costs to support the upkeep and boarding of the 48 horses used in the program. Additionally, entering equine students are provided with an internship/orientation, which familiarizes the student with the facility and the program to ensure the student’s success. For a list of all fees and tuition, please see the Bursar’s Page.
