Institutional Research: Overview

Mission Statement/Role

The main role of the Office of Institutional Research is to collect, analyze and interpret data, as well as to report information on all aspects of the college (e.g. students, faculty, academic departments, admissions, alumni, space utilization, etc). In this respect, the office serves as a central locale for statistical data regarding every facet of the college. The data and information are available for use by the college's senior management for institutional decision-making and for strategic planning. Furthermore, the office coordinates and/or responds to requests for institutional data and information from internal and external sources. In the college organizational structure, the office reports directly to DelVal's President.
