To use a gaming console you must fill out the Gaming Console Registration Form. You will need the MAC address of your console to complete this form. You will have to fill this form out every school year. If you change rooms, you willhave to fill out this form again. Note: Internet use which is not academic by nature is not guaranteed to operate correctly on the Delaware Valley College network.
How to find your MAC address:
Microsoft XboxTo find the MAC address for your Microsoft Xbox:
- Turn on your Xbox console with no game disc in the disc tray.
- From the Xbox Dashboard, choose "Settings."
- From the "Settings" screen, select "Network Settings."
- The MAC address is the 12-digit number at the bottom-right corner of the "Network Settings" screen.

Microsoft Xbox 360
To find the MAC address of your Xbox 360:
- Go to the "System" area of the Xbox Dashboard;
- Select "Network Settings";
- Select "Edit Settings.";
- Select "Additional Settings";
- Select "Advanced Settings";
- At the bottom of this screen you'll see a heading called "Wired MAC Address," which is your MAC address.

Nintendo DS
To find your Nintendo DS's MAC address, you will need a WiFi-enabled game for the Nintendo DS. From the official Nintendo WiFi website: The MAC address of the Nintendo DS can be found by going to the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Setup in the game's menu. Select "Options," then "System Information." The MAC address is displayed on the top line. If you are playing a local wireless game with friends, you should not need to have your MAC address added to ResNet's list of gaming consoles.

Nintendo Wii
To find the MAC address for your Nintendo Wii, follow the steps taken from Nintendo's support site:
- From the Wii Channel menu, select "Wii Settings" (the round button on the bottom-left of the screen with "Wii" on it).
- Select "Internet," then "Console Settings."
- The MAC address of the Wii console is displayed on the first line.
Please keep in mind that the Wii can only connect to the Internet via wireless unless you purchase a WiFi Adapter from Nintendo.

Sony Playstation 2
To find the MAC address of your Sony PlayStation 2 you will need the Network Adaptor connected to the PS2 and you will need the disc that came with the Network Adaptor. Then follow these steps:
- Power up the PlayStation 2 and load the Network Adaptor Startup Disc.
- Once it has loaded, select "ISP Setup" and press X on your controller.
- The ISP Setup will begin to load, and you will be presented with a license agreement. Select Agree and press X to continue.
- For connection type, choose "Local Area Network (LAN)" and press X to continue.
- Select "Automatic Configuration" and press X to continue.
- At the connection test screen, select "Advanced" and press X to continue.
- At the "Advanced Broadband Settings" screen, make sure "Automatic" is selected. While you are at this screen, make note of the MAC address at the bottom.

Sony Playstation 3
To find the MAC address for your Sony Playstation 3, follow these steps: - Power up the PlayStation 3 without any disc in the drive.
- Once the PlayStation 3 operating system has loaded, select "Settings."
- Once you are in "Settings" select "Network Settings."
- When the "Network Settings" list appears, select the first option which is titled "Settings and Connection Status List."
- The physical address will be listed under "MAC Address." Make note of your MAC address.
