Executive-in-Residence Program: Overview

An economy without borders — that’s today’s business reality. The individuals best suited for success in the global marketplace are those who have seen different operations up close, those that possess critical thinking and decision making skills, and appreciate the importance of business relationships.

The Thomas W. Watson Executive-in-Residence Program was established in 2005 to bring worldwide business leaders to Delaware Valley College. The program’s founder, Tom W. Watson, a 1957 graduate of DelVal and former Vice Chairman of Omnicom Group, values the learning that happens in the classroom. Couple that with the body of knowledge that an experienced executive from the Watson Executive-in-Residence can bring to a classroom discussion, public lecture or workshop with students, and the overall learning environment is greatly enhanced.
