Join Mingwang Liu, Ph.D., Professor in Delaware Valley University’s Department of Landscape Architecture & Environmental Sciences for a guided autumnal walking tour of the Henry Schmieder Arboretum which encompasses 40 acres of Delaware Valley University’s main campus. Learn first-hand about the many horticultural wonders that are cultivated including the signature woody plant collections, edible woody plants, the botanical history of the specimens, and more!

Dr. Mingwang Liu is a professor in Delaware Valley University’s Department of Plant Science and Landscape Architecture in the School of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. He currently teaches courses on plant identification, landscape use and cultivation of woody and herbaceous plants, as well as courses in dendrology (the study of trees), medicinal plants, and botany of vascular plants.
