Lawrence Stelmach has been teaching at Delaware Valley University for 21 years and currently serves as chair of the Department of Business and Information Management. His business career has included two years at AIG, 11 years at Air Products and Chemicals, five years at Fisher Group, and nine years at Johnson & Johnson. He was involved in chemical research early in his career, then business development, sales, divestitures and acquisitions, and strategic planning. He also served as vice president and general manager of a business unit at Johnson & Johnson, where he provided hemostasis diagnostic products.
Stelmach is married with two children. His wife, Joan, implements software programs for doctors' offices and does web design for nonprofits. His daughter, Casey, is an engineering graduate from Dartmouth who works in the energy conservation industry, and his son, Greg, is a 2014 DelVal graduate.
