We are here to help.

Supporting the individual needs of students is a key function of Student Development and Accessibility Services. Students may encounter barriers that impact academic and personal success while in college. Through intervention and support efforts with campus and community resources, students will have assistance through challenging matters. Examples of support efforts include:

We recognize families and other individuals at home are invested in each student’s success at DelVal. The support efforts through Student Development and Accessibility Services often involve the student and family. Our shared goal is to address the needs of students while fostering self-advocacy skills the student can utilize in the future.

DelVal is a caring community. Faculty and staff are attentive to student needs and refer students to campus resources appropriately. Students are most often referred to Student Development and Accessibility Services through the University’s Aggie Care Team, Health Center, Counseling Services, Athletics, and other students.
