Rees
,
Interim Assistant Professor of Animal Science, Adjunct Professor of Agricultural Business

Rees is an alumna of the animal science program at DelVal. And, after joining the faculty in 2021, she is currently teaching in the animal science department as well as the agriculture business department. During her time at DelVal in the animal science program, she discovered her passion for public speaking for agriculture.

"What keeps me invested in agriculture education is inspiring students to pursue the evolution of agriculture," said Rees.

Rees shares knowledge from her experiences as a business owner and her time in corporate agriculture with Clemens Food Group. Rees has also achieved her HACCP certificate which entails the safe production of food at checkpoints throughout production.

During her time in corporate agriculture, she obtained a broad insight into organizational structure, including how departments flow and depend on one another with the shared goal of safe food production. Her professional journey is a mix of animal production and business tactics. This insight has translated into her teaching - giving students real-world perspectives in preparation for their post-graduation trajectories.
