Jolynn Thomas

Dr. Thomas is Board Certified through the Academy of Neurological Communication Disorders and Sciences (BC-ANCDS) and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Disorders from Temple University, a Master of Science degree in Speech and Language Pathology from The College of Saint Rose and a Doctoral Degree in Education in Leadership with a concentration in Healthcare Education from Rockhurst University. Dr. Thomas is an assistant professor in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology. She has 30 years’ experience working with adults and adolescents with acquired neurogenic speech-language, swallowing, and cognitive communication disorders. Her primary areas of interest include aphasia, apraxia, and cognitive communication disorders and utilizing evidence-based practice to facilitate optimal patient outcomes. She works clinically at Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital in the Main Line Health Organization.
