Blair joined the C&N team as Southeast Region President in July 2020 at which time C&N acquired Covenant Bank. Blair joined the Covenant Bank team in April 2016 as President & Chief Operating Officer. Prior to this time, he was the Eastern Region President with National Penn Bank. The Eastern Region comprises the counties of Bucks and Eastern Montgomery County in PA as well as the counties of Mercer, Burlington and Ocean in New Jersey. He joined National Penn through their acquisition of FirstService Bank in February 2003. Prior to National Penn, Blair was an Executive Vice President with FirstService Bank. Blair was one of four original officers of the de nova FirstService Bank who opened for business in July 1995. Prior to FirstService Bank, Blair was a Vice President with CoreStates and Bucks County Bank where he started his forty-three year banking career.
Blair enjoys being very active in his community serving on numerous boards & committees. Presently Blair serves on the following boards & committees: Delaware Valley University, Board of Trustees; Central Bucks County Chamber of Commerce, Past Chairman of the Board, Executive Committee Member; Grand View Health Board Treasurer, Chairman of Finance Committee, Executive Committee Member; Grand View Health Foundation Board of Trustees; North Penn Valley Boys & Girls Club, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Washington Crossing Council – Boy Scouts of America Board, Immediate Past President; PA Bankers, Federal GR Policymakers Committee, Direct Contact Bankers Committee; St. Andrew’s U.C.C. of Perkasie, Chairman of Finance Committee.
Blair is also a past member of the following organizations: Covenant Bank Board of Directors; PA Bankers Association, immediate past Chairman of the Government Relations Policy Committee and immediate past Vice Chairman of the Advocacy Committee; Grand View Health, Quality Steering Committee Member; North Penn United Way, Past Campaign Chairman; Community Lenders Community Development Corporation, past Chairman of the Board; North Penn Rotary Club, past President; Pennridge Little League, past Treasurer and Coach; Pennridge Connie Mack Baseball, past coach; Pennridge Church Softball League, past Treasurer and Coach; Pennridge Jaycees, past President with JCI Senatorship; North Penn Chamber of Commerce.
Blair has also served as a lay person member of the Committee on Ministry of the North Penn Association of the United Church of Christ and as a member of the Montgomery County Bankers Association Council of Administration. He is also a past member of the Risk Management Association.
Blair is a current member of the North Penn Rotary Club and is a Rotary Foundation Paul Harris Fellow, Delaware Valley (College) University’s 1896 Society and Doylestown Country Club. Blair is a graduate of Delaware Valley College with a B.S. in Business Administration and the Pennsylvania Bankers Association’s Central Atlantic Advanced School of Banking. He is a lifelong resident of Upper Bucks County and a graduate of Pennridge High School.
Blair has been married for 37 years to Tamara Mosher Rush. He has three adult children and two grandchildren. Blair is an enthusiastic sports fan, participant, and past coach. He has also enjoyed volunteer work for more than forty years. He believes volunteering gives us an opportunity to change lives, including our own.
