Daniel Moloney

Daniel Moloney is an investor in and advisor to various early stage technology companies in the data, analytics, and communications markets. He also serves as an Advisor to a NY based growth equity firm that invests in technology transformations within critical industries, and as an Advisor to a Philadelphia based venture capital firm that invests in the fintech, data, and software markets. In addition, he serves as Chairman of Adeia, Inc, an R&D innovation company in the media, entertainment, and semiconductor industries.

Mr. Moloney has spent nearly 30 years in operating roles in the technology and telecom market. He served as President of Motorola Mobility at the time of its sale to Google in 2012. Previously he worked for Motorola in a number of leadership roles across technologies in video, voice, and data. He began his career at General Instrument, a pioneer in technology solutions for the cable industry. Mr. Moloney has been recognized for his leadership in Business and Technology by The University of Michigan Engineering Alumni Association and the National Cable & Telecommunications Association.

Residing in Washington Crossing, PA with his wife, Stasia, Mr. Moloney holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from The University of Michigan, and an MBA from The University of Chicago.
