Karen Yuengel

Karen Yuengel is a certified Physician Assistant since 2010. She studied and graduated from Philadelphia University in 2010 with a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and a minor in education. She joined Delaware Valley University’s Physician Assistant program in 2022 as instructional faculty and guest lecturer while working full time clinically. Karen transitioned to full time Principal Faculty in 2023. Her primary clinical experience is in orthopaedic surgery including hand and upper extremity, total joints, trauma, sports medicine, and pediatrics. She was also actively involved collecting data for numerous orthopedic research projects and published articles. Prior to completing her Physician Assistant studies, her background and undergraduate degree was a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Springfield College in Massachusetts. Karen worked in a variety of healthcare settings in New Jersey from the head athletic trainer at a high school for several years, to a physical therapy office, as well as a professional soccer team in MLS. She currently resides local to Delaware Valley University.
