A-Day wins award

A-Day, Delaware Valley University's student-run state fair, has been selected as Zone 4 Fair of the Year by the Pennsylvania State Association of County Fairs. During the award presentation, it was noted that DelVal's event is unique because it's 100 percent run by the students.
"They continue to improve the event each year," said A-Day Advisor Marian Schad. "The Executive Team does an excellent job of mentoring next year's incoming team of students."
A-Day Executive Team members Melissa Nothstein '19 and Rachael Burmeister '18 attended the Pennsylvania State Association of County Fairs annual meeting in January to accept the award on behalf of A-Day. A-Day 2017 will be held April 21 through April 23 on DelVal's main campus.
