Delaware Valley Univeristy Named to Phi Theta Kappa 2026 Transfer Honor Roll

Posted on

Delaware Valley University (DelVal) has once again been recognized for its commitment to transfer student success, earning a place on Phi Theta Kappa’s Transfer Honor Roll for the sixth consecutive year.

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) recognizes colleges and universities who have demonstrated a high-level of support for transfer students across the entire transfer journey. PTK evaluates institutions for the list based on the success rate of transfer students, campus friendliness and sense of belonging, the availability of financial aid, acceptance of transfer credits, and the recruitment experience.

Applications to DelVal for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 are open. PTK members receive an additional $4,000 merit scholarship in addition to the $15,000 to $22,000 guaranteed minimum scholarship for all full-time accepted transfer students.

DelVal accepts up to 90 transfer credits, allowing many students to maximize the work they have already completed. The University also has nine Core-to-Core Community College Agreements that enable students who complete an approved associate degree at partner community colleges to satisy DelVal’s general education requirements, creating a streamlined transition toward a bachelor’s degree.
