Delaware Valley University’s Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology Candidacy Virtual Site Visit February 1, 2022

The Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology (MS-SLP) program at Delaware Valley University (DelVal) is seeking candidacy accreditation by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

The MS-SLP program is undergoing a candidacy virtual site visit and in accordance with the CAA’s Public Comment policy and procedures, the CAA is seeking public comment as part of the review of DelVal’s MS-SLP program.

As part of the visit, a public meeting will be held virtually during this public meeting, stakeholders are welcome to offer questions, comments, and other feedback regarding the program.

If you would like to provide comments but are unable to attend this public meeting, written comments may be submitted until January 17, 2022 (15 days prior to the site visit). Please see Policy on Written Comments below. Policy on Written Comments
In addition to providing written and/or oral comments at the public meeting, the community is also able to submit written comments no late than 15 days before the first day of the scheduled two-day site visit (February 1 - 2, 2022). Please note that all comments provided must relate to the program’s compliance with the published Standards for Accreditation of Graduate Education Programs in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (Standards) in effect at the time comments are submitted, and must identify the specific program seeking candidacy, initial accreditation, or reaccreditations with the CAA. Comments not meeting these requirements will not be considered, and the individual or group commenting will be so notified by CAA.

Comments must be submitted to the Accreditation Office no later than fifteen (15) days before the first day of the scheduled site visit (due by January 17, 2022). Comments received after this time will not be forwarded to the site visit team for consideration during the accreditation review. All written testimony, including comments submitted via Fax or as an email attachment, must include the commenter’s name, address, telephone number, and the commenter’s relationship to the program in order for the Accreditation Office staff to verify the source of the testimony. All comments must be signed.
