The University will host a spring concert featuring the Symphonic Band and Jazz Band.

Join the Delaware Valley University Symphonic Band and Jazz Band for an afternoon of music devoted entirely to American composers.  From hot jazz to works by talented contemporary composers, John Philip Sousa’s “Stars and Stripes Forever” and even a medley from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Oklahoma,” this concert promises to have something for everyone.

The concert will be held on Sunday, February 27th at 3 p.m. in the Life Sciences Building Auditorium. Admission is free. No tickets are required, and the event is open to the public.

“Delaware Valley University is committed to presenting high-quality, entertaining, and educational programs suitable for audiences of all ages,” said Dr. Jack Schmidt, professor of music and chair of the Department of Liberal Arts. “We thank you for your past support of our programs at Delaware Valley University and look forward to seeing you.”

In accordance with CDC recommendations, masks must be worn indoors on DelVal’s campus.  For more information contact Dr. Jack Schmidt at jack.schmidt@delval.edu.
