The DelVal Color Guard wins its division

Posted on

The Delaware Valley University Color Guard won its division in the Mid Atlantic Indoor Network in the first main competition of the season. The team earned a score of 60.3 for its diner-themed show. The DelVal guard’s performance is set to Suzanne Vega's song “Tom's Diner” and features elaborate flag and dance work. The program, “Cup of Joy,” incorporates innovative props and challenging dance moves in a ’50s diner theme.

The Guard is now preparing to compete in the Mid Atlantic Indoor Network (MAIN) championship, which will be held on April 16 in South Brunswick, New Jersey. The team will perform alongside 65 other teams at the championship.
