The Bucks County Chambers of Commerce and the League of Women Voters of Bucks County are pleased to announce a U.S. Congressional Candidates Forum to be held on Friday, Oct. 19 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. The Forum will be held in the Life Sciences Building auditorium at Delaware Valley University, 700 E. Butler Avenue, Doylestown. Doors open to the public at 7:30 a.m.

Candidates participating in the forum for the 1st Congressional district include Republican incumbent Brian Fitzpatrick and challenger Scott Wallace, Democrat.

The League is pleased to once again partner with the Chambers to offer a forum to help the candidates running for the U.S. Congressional district get their message out and to help voters make informed electoral decisions by bringing their questions about issues to the forum.

“We appreciate that these candidates have agreed to participate in a fair and impartial forum that offers each of them an equal opportunity to voice their positions on important issues and respond to one another,” said League Co-President Peggy Dator.

The Bucks County Chambers of Commerce continue to recognize the importance of elected representation at all levels of government. Organizing this U.S. Congressional forum for the Bucks County business members and the public enable many people to make informed decisions as they vote. This contributes to a stronger community and the potential for continued business growth in Bucks County.
