Nicole Daher

Nicole Daher, MC, PA-C, is an associate professor and associate director of Student Achievement and Outcomes in the Physician Assistant Studies Program. Daher has over nine years of experience in physician assistant (PA) education, having previously served as a full-time faculty member and didactic year coordinator. Her areas of expertise include teaching and directing clinical medicine, history and physical examination, behavioral medicine, and interprofessional education. She has also contributed to admissions, curriculum development and faculty development. Daher enjoys bringing her real-world clinical experiences into the classroom and mentoring students as they develop their clinical reasoning and patient-care skills.

Daher has more than 16 years of clinical experience in family medicine, behavioral medicine, and obstetrics and gynecology. She has served as an OB/GYN hospitalist at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and currently practices family medicine at a local inpatient behavioral health hospital.

Daher has presented at the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Associates (PCPA) and has published peer-reviewed articles in the Journal of the American Academy of Physician Associates (JAAPA) on infective endocarditis, hypertensive crisis and contraception, as well as an article in BioMed Central Medical Education on obstetrical simulation in medical education. She also serves as a peer reviewer in JAAPA and has participated in faculty development initiatives focused on inclusive teaching.

Daher earned her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of the Science and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is NCCPA certified and is a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Associates, the PCPA, and the Physician Assistant Education Association.

Daher is passionate about PA education, mentorship and preparing students to provide compassionate, evidence-based patient care. She lives locally with her husband, two sons and daughter.
