Greg Gipe '25, a History, Policy and Society major, recently completed a successful summer internship at the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau.

During his time at the internship, Greg’s focus was primarily on government relations and lobbying efforts. He also contributed to social media and magazine publications.

On the government relations side, Greg lobbied legislators at both the state and federal levels, attended meetings with regulatory agencies like the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), and participated in committee meetings.

“I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to intern at the Pennsylvania Farm Burueau,” said Gipe. “This experience has provided me with invaluable insights into the world of government relations and advocacy I was able to apply my academic knowledge to real-world challenges and gain a deeper understanding of the issues facing the agriculture industry.”
