Adjunct - Criminal Justice

Stephen Cantwell has been teaching as an Adjunct Professor in Criminal Justice at Delaware Valley University since 2017.  Professionally, Mr. Cantwell has worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer in the field of Probation and Parole for over 30+ years. He has also served as a board member on several local boards, working with students at the high school levels, as well as at-risk youths within the community.

Beyond teaching, Mr. Cantwell is married with three children and spends most of his free time trying to stay active by playing golf, bike riding, going to the gym, and working on his house. He has spent many years coaching his kids and hundreds of others in sports.

Mr. Cantwell finds that his most satisfying times here at DelVal occur when he gets the chance to teach someone who he previously knew from an earlier stage in life. He enjoys getting to experience their growth as a student and help them get ready for the next chapter in life. At DelVal, Mr. Cantwell has taught Introduction to Criminal Justice.
