Test Optional Admission

To apply as test-optional, you must complete either the DelVal Application for Admission or the Common Application, and submit an official high school transcript and a letter of recommendation. You may be asked to schedule an on-campus interview.

Merit Scholarships

Students who take advantage of our new test-optional policy will still be eligible for merit scholarships. Students and parents should contact admitme@delval.edu or 215.489.2211 to be directed to an Admission counselor. Our counselors are available to help personally guide students and families through the process of applying to DelVal and, any test-optional policy questions.

Home-schooled applicants are encouraged to take the SAT/ACT. If a student does not take the SAT/ACT, an admission interview will be required.

All international students must submit standardized test scores in order to assist in the application review process. The University will accept the TOEFL, ITEP, IELTS and/or SAT/ACT scores.
